Nina’s journey is such an unusual one, crossing many professions, cultures and international borders, and she is a champion for a number of worthwhile causes. Her honesty, passion and courage in the face of adversity shine through and make her an inspiring speaker.
Nina Hobson was our Guest Speaker for women in building and Construction and it was without a doubt a winning event. We just kept asking for her to “please keep talking” as she was so interesting and inspiring. Her life history and her journey to where she is today had the ladies enthralled. We heard stories of her dangerous escapades and what else could we say but WOW, simply amazing! We have invited Nina back due the fantastic response.
Nina was fantastic and her presentation was riveting.
Nina is an absolute professional and easily related/engaged with our audience.
… I just wanted to say how much I enjoyed your presentation at the Women’s Day event in Kalgoorlie and many of your stories and experiences have echoed in my thoughts. What most surprised me is that you have given and achieved so much and still someone operates with you dishonestly in business. This story is a good warning not to assume that everyone has the same ethical values. I really got a lot out of your talk. It has inspired me to think big and not be limited by ideas of who we think we are…Your work in educating kids about the dangers in social media I think is incredibly valuable and should be delivered through schools everywhere. Keep up the amazing work, incredibly inspiring.
Nina was very entertaining, but most of all HUMAN. Someone we could all relate to. And her story of overcoming adversity was inspirational!
I heard Nina speak the first time at a Woman in Building function hosted by Master Builders Association. I am most impressed with Nina’s sense of humour while presenting important factual personal experiences. We are inspired as audience to step outside of our comfort zone, to pursue our dreams and to be relevant to our community. In her speech, we are encouraged to think about how we can help others around us. I highly recommend Nina to speak about dealing with adversity and to arm with the skills, toolkits and mindset that are all necessary for the journey.
